So I’ll tell you something funny about my life here in NZ. My dog (chockie, short for Chocolate cuz she is like a Dalmatian but brown and white not black and white) is really really badly behaved. Last night we has roasted chicken for dinner, and when we went to bed, my dad had left the roasting pan on the stove to clean in the morning. The dog jumped up and pulled it down and licked all the oil, spilt some on the floor, licked that too, but worst of all hit the gas burner on with her paw, and since there is no ignition thing, the gas just started leaking out into the kitchen, so when we woke up the whole kitchen and living room was full of gas and smelt awful and my dad is walking about saying stuff like “nobody turn on any lights or strike any matches or we’ll all die”
So that was funny. And yet not.
What a drama eh
So, after a near death experience or two, what else has happened today
Not much
But I did promise more blogging, so there it is.
How is Canada today?
How is Norway today?
How is wherever you are today?

Canada is doing quite well, thank you. Mom, my cousin, the little kids and I spent yesterday morning at the lake. The kids swam, but we older 'wiser' people just sat and watched. I'll wait till the water warms up a little more.

Mitchell turned 8 on the 15th. Because of people's different work schedules and travel schedules and what-not, we celebrated ON his b-day, yesterday, and will do so at another un-specified date next week I think when my other Grandma gets back from Sask. That will make at least 3 birthday cakes! A rather typical birthday at my house, really. I'll pass on your birthday wishes to Mitch, as I know you'll want to send them.

the 'couv is pretty rad today. could do with a little more sun and a few less threatening clouds. i love that story about your dog - my family in utah also has a dog that is a little on the naughty side. the stories are always funny, a little while after the fact.

too many days without a post, i'm upset with you! i'm going to assume you've been kidnapped by aliens and start wearing a foil hat so that you don't lead them to me!
